Biokleen – Tough on Dirt, Gentle on the Earth.

Hi Everyone!

It was a Sad sad day for me when my go to cleaning product METHOD decided to test their products on animals… Yes, they are no longer cruelty-free! ( link to logical Harmony)

On a positive note, we have so many options now as far as cruelty-free goes… and I am so happy that there are still companies out there that care about your health, animals and the earth!

lets take a step back here, What’s wrong with most commercial cleaning products you ask?

well about a year ago I wrote a blog about this titled Your Cleaning Products are Killing you, please check it out… basically According to the Organic Consumers Association

“  some cleaners are among the most toxic products found in the home. In 2000, cleaning products were responsible for nearly 10% of all toxic exposures reported to U.S. Poison Control Centers, accounting for 206,636 calls”

in addition, these products are extremely harmful to your health and the chemicals and fragrances in them can cause long term health effects…. Cancer or Hormone disruption!

I came across Biokleen in my search to find a new go to cruelty-free brand. Upon arriving to their site I was so excited to read the following words:

I mean… seriously, what more could you ask for!?

I had to contact  Biokleen  immediately and test out some products for you guys, and they were kind enough to send me a few of their favorites for review!

1) Biokleen Eco-Bottle Citrus Essence Laundry Liquid

I have been on the hunt for a good plantbased laundry liquid for a while, especially because  I have some sort of allergy to other laundry liquids, especially the ones with Fragrance!

The packaging comes with instruction on how to use and how much to use, which is a lot less that I was used to using! It does say that it’s 3x concentrated you can also hand wash with this liquid!

well my clothes came out fresh and clean, and the cleaner used only plant- and mineral-based ingredients, so no allergies here ladies 🙂 and even though it is fragrance free, it still smells awesome.. like fresh lime juice, very citrusy!

Even the packaging is Eco friendly,  made from 100% post-consumer waste.

2) Biokleen Oxygen Plus Bleach

I used this on my whites while I was doing laundry… I don’t think I have used Bleach in SUCH a long time… mainly because of Chlorine of course, can’t stand it.. can’t stand the smell of it.. don’t want it anywhere near me..

well.. good news cause this Bleach is CHlORINE FREE!

Yes, yes and yes… My whites are whiter & Brighter! I also used this to remove some self Tanning stains from one of my white shirts and pooooof, pretty much like new!

I love that I can use this on spot cleaning as well, it works extremely well!

3) Biokleen Bac-Out

I love the name of this product! you can use this on any household stain, pet stains or everyday disasters…This cleaning product contains no Chlorine, Ammonia, Butyl, Glycol Ether,SLS, or SLES, DEA or EPA Priority pollutants…

This one has been a lifesaver for me… As you all know I have a little maltese cutie, by the name of charlie:

Yes.. he’s cute, but he loves to jump on the couch with his dirty feet, take any wet food on to the rug and smash it with his face!! ( crazy kid)…. AND of course he gives me the occasional “I just pooped in the house, good luck..” face… which I am sure any dog owner is familiar with.

This product gets rid of not only the stain! but the odor of these little messes! Their blend of live enzyme-producing cultures, citrus extracts and plant-based ingredients gets rid of all of Charlie’s little stains.. Magically! Probably one of the best products I have tried for removing these kinds of stains, and I can only imagine it will be SUPER handy for those of you who have kids.

I have linked the products to sites that sell them but you can also use Biokleen’s very handy location search on their site to find stores near you.

Biokleen also has a range of products from cleaning tools, boat cleaners to dishwashing soap and more! so please check out their site for some useful info and even helpful videos 🙂

alright guys! Keep saving those bunnies…

As always I’ll have to mention that I am in so way sponsored  by this company ( or any other company on my blog) , I did receive this product for review but in no way getting paid to promote or write a positive blog on this company, I just do this so that you guys get to read about more cruelty-free and vegan companies out there and have the choice to chose better for yourselves, the environment and the animals.

Hope you guys enjoyed this review, I’ll see you on Friday with an extra special review of a new brand I recently discovered 🙂

Love & Peace
