Well, in honor of Sexual Health Awareness month and since I am for all things health related! I say we talk about it right here and right now! let’s break the silence and normalize the conversation around STDS so that we can educate each other on the health dangers of STDS and how they can be tested.

How Do You Get an STD

An STD can occur from Oral as well as vaginal sex or even genital touching! more often than not, an STD can go unnoticed because the symptoms are not always obvious. Even if you did not notice any symptoms you can still pass the STD to another partner.

Some STDs are easier to treat and some are a little more complicated, but if left untreated you take a risk of getting another STD such as HIV and some untreated STDs can lead to organ failure, infertility or even certain types of cancer.

So yes, we need to talk about this and It is very important to always use protection during sex and do regular testing.
