So this is a little embarrassing for me to talk about …
For the past couple of years I have been having these random breakouts on my neck and body… they would just flare up and I would be miserable and then they would heal and scar and then come back… it seems to happen whenever my skin is exposed to the sun…
there are plenty of body treatments out there but all full of chemicals and of course they are not Cruelty-free and vegan… hey I am not going to contribute to the misery of animals and harm myself by using those products!
but still…I was absolutely miserable about it, and in the beginning of this summer.. just as my skin was exposed to sun the Body acne flared up again…and there began the cycle of drying scarring.. breaking out.. drying ughhhhhhhhh
I have talked about the Just Natural brand in my blog before, their Bliss soap is to die for and I absolutely Love their shampoo and conditioners!
and last month I discovered their Acne Line as well… I was so excited to try their products out, but didn’t really have high hopes since my body acne was not budging 😦

This soap is absolutely amazing! I love it to death…I use this all over my body in the shower… it is so gentle on my skin and it doesn’t dry it out.. even though I had acne on my skin, I had dry skin on top of it as well.. which would just lead to more scarring and irritation… well since I have been using this soap… my skin feels smooth and not dry!!! and no more breakouts!
All natural ingredients : Jojoba Oil, Essential Oils of Manuka, Geranium, Tea Tree, Orange, Oregano, Peppermint, Clary Sage, Lemongrass, Chamomile, Natural Vitamin E.

I have some acne on my face, and also on my shoulders and back. I’ve tried a lot of different things (including Arbonne, which helped a little) but nothing really seems to get rid of it. It freaks me out a little because I think it’s starting to scar (and skin picking is a nasty habit of mine)… But if it worked for you, maybe I oughta give it a try!

Hey guys, I struggle with acne really horribly myself a few years back and found a ton of it was diet related. For me, it was dairy and gluten. Obviously a vegan diet doesn’t include dairy, but what about gluten? Acne is almost always to do with something happening internally, that was the case for me! Look up chinese face mapping, if you haven’t already before. Sorry to hear you struggle with this, it is a really tough thing to deal with being a girl!!! I hope this helps you!

thanks so much for your comment 🙂 I am actually allergic to dairy so I have never had it my entire life… and I don’t eat gluten or any oils.. so that’s why i was really upset.. you are right though for most people it is something internal… mine happens to be a reaction to the sun…sun causes your skin to dry out and triggers more oil production, which can lead to more Acne 😦 thanks for your reading and for your advice 🙂

I’m sorry! 😦 It seems like maybe you need to rebalance your skin. I hope those products help you! Maybe an oil will help to purify and trick your skin into not over producing the oil. Did you try essential oils?

yes I have tried everything.. but like i mentioned in my blog the just natural products are working very well 🙂 so no more acne for me right now 😀

I’ve been struggling with acne myself for a long time. I think I’ll give this a try! Thanks so much. It can be so difficult to find body & face products that are vegan.

I fear that acne is my worst enemy along with hormones. Sometimes it’s a few spots on the neck area, and sometimes there is just those annoying ones on the forehead, but I love hearing and learning about new products that have worked for people that are cruelty free, no parabens, no cetyl alcohol, etc. I have to say that what has worked best for me is Botanique Himalaya Neem and Turmeric Face Wash along with using coconut oil and tea tree oil after the shower. Works wonders.

awesome! I use coconut oil as well, I put it on my face and neck before bed! and I love it 🙂 thank you for those suggestions! Have heard of Turmeric face wash before but never seem to find it anywhere!!

I do the same with coconut oil. You can get the face wash from whole foods. One of the women there recommended it to me, and I had no idea it would clear up my breakouts.
