You might have noticed that I haven’t been posting as much this past few months! well that is about to CHANGE!
Where have I been? and where are the food and makeup posts?
well… I have been going through some diet changes… which have effected the types of products I use… YES I am still Vegan, in case you were wondering but I have been eating more whole foods and plant based.
The reason I started to do that was because.. I wasn’t feeling too great, I was tired all the time and breaking out.. a lot…
A LOT Of people tried to tell me that it was because I was vegan.. and for a minute there I started to question that…. but one of my friends recommended that i take an allergy test…. so I did … and BOY! it revealed so much.. I basically found out that I am allergic to:
Peanuts ( Already knew this one), Almonds, peacons, Soy, sesame seed and Onions!
well… what the hell can I eat then? thats the question I asked myself when I found out the results.. and honestly I was pretty depressed. as most of you know, Onions and Almonds were an everyday thing for me and of course can’t really avoid Soy since it’s in EVERYTHING! and there goes my Tahini salad dressing!
But then I realized what I could eat, and it was a pretty long list! so yes, I have been experimenting with a lot of stuff and have found some great things that work for me… I have cut out the processed food ( since they pretty much one of these things) and I am doing great! I have so much energy, the pimples are gone and I FEEL GREAT!
Some of these ingredients were also rich in the vegan makeups I was using, or testing out so I had to stop and make sure I was using products that were free of these ingredients!
I am so excited to be Blogging again for you guys and bringing in some new recipes and makeup favorites!
