I have such a fun and awesome product for you guys today! Its basically proof that natural ingredients really do heal your body inside and out!
of course when its natural.. you don’t need to hurt any bunnies to test it out ( not that you need to ever in any circumstances …)
I basically live by the saying, “you are what you eat” and I believe my secret to a healthy mind and body is that I eat a plant-based diet rich in greens and fruits and drink about 3 lit of water a day! I stay away from processed foods, basically if it comes out of a box I avoid it…
Growing up I ate a lot Turmeric, as it is one of the main ingredients in Persian cooking and stews… Its always been the ingredient that brings everything together! its just … LIFE…
well turns out… aside from adding great taste to your food, Turmeric contains curcumin, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties… It does so much for your body and mind! read more out it HERE
As I was searching the web and trying to find vegan and cruelty-free products, I came across YLLO Turmeric Scrub , I instantly fell in love and contacted them to see if I could try out their product!
WHY Turmeric scrub?
Reasons turmeric kicks butt: ( as mentioned on the SITE )
- Reduces acne and rosacea
- Fades acne scarring
- Evens out skin tone
- Controls oily skin
- Slows and eliminates facial hair growth
- Keeps skin young, tight and vibrant
- Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
Thats pretty much everything that I want for my skin 🙂
I was so excited to try and post about it when it came, but I decided to try it a few times before I posted to see what it does!
The Turmeric Scrub contains Chickpea flour, sea salt, cane sugar, and cold-pressed coconut oil,Vitamin E and essential lemon oil in addition to organic turmeric to help further exfoliate and heal your skin.
I mixed a tablespoon of scrub with a tea spoon of water as directed and applied it to my clean fresh fresh, I applied it all over my face but you can apply it to your problem areas..
I left it on for around 20 minutes and as it dried out, it became a little harder as well.. think i did have a little cut on my face and a small area stung a little bit because of the salt in the ingredient, but nothing that was painful!
DOES IT WORK?
As I washed it off my face I IMMEDIATELY noticed that my face was softer, hydrated and more even! I had expected minor results, but my skin felt amazing!!
you can use this scrub up to 3 times a week, so I have been using it ever since! I have been getting so many complements on my complexion this past week. .. people ask me what foundation I am using and they are usually surprised when I tell them that I don’t really wear any ( sometimes I wear the Pacifica CC foundation) but thats not even medium coverage for my skin!
I have noticed the fine lines are less noticeable and some old pimple scars have faded and I have only been using this for about 2 weeks!! INSANE!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this scrub! you get such a generous amount in the package and only $24.95 or you can buy 2 for $44.95 and save some$$$
I think this would make such a great gift and its really fun to do with your friends as well 🙂
