Hi Everyone,
I have been testing the Giovani 2 Chic Leave in Conditioner & Styling Elixir on my hair for the past few weeks and finally want to write a post about it!
I have fine hair and it is color treated, and it was getting really dry.. so it was time for a leave in conditioner to get that flow.. hair flip non frizz look….
this is cameron Diaz int he mask btw… after she come from the rain into the bank…feels like a million years ago! oh memories!!!
back to my leave in conditioner!
SO… I have written on the Giovanni brand before, you can Check out my blog on them HERE… but basically they are Cruelty free and they say that most of their products are vegan except for their Magnetic shampoo, conditioner, power treatment, styling gel and styling wax which contains lactoferrin, and our Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub which contains honey…
Giovanni also:
- Uses ingredients that are mild and plant based so allergic reactions are rare.
- Does not contain Sodium Sulfate & Sodium Laureate Sulfate ( SlS, SLES)
- Does not contain Phthalates
- Does not contain Alcohol
- The majority Contain only natural fragrance and essential oils. When synthetic fragrance is used in certain products it is necessary to ensure product stability.
- Does not contain Parabens.
You can find a complete list of their ingredient HERE.
as for the Leave in Conditioner & Styling Elixir
I have been really liking this product! It is the Blackberry and Coconut Milk so… as you guys know.. I love coconut smells 🙂 and this does have a mild pleasant coconut smell…
I was actually surprised because normally I don’t like the 2 in one thing!! I think because i have fine hair an this is a Light product it works really well for me!! and it did do a really good job at moisturizing my hair!!!
now my friend who has really thick hair also used it and she said she did not really care for it, she said she has to use a lot and it was not doing much to moisturize…
So this product claims to:
- Restores natural elasticit
- Strengthens hair for effortless style control
- Smooths away frizz
- Mends tresses with nourishment
- Prevents split ends
and I would say for the most part it does what it says it is going to do… I noticed I did not have any Frizz and my hair felt soft and nourished and my waves were nice and wavy.. not a freakin frizz ball!!
as for preventing Split ends… I don’t know if any product really ever prevents split ends! so I don’t know about that one!!! I think we should take care of out hair and trim it every 5-6 weeks to prevent split ends..
well, over all I would recommend this to the ladies with Fine and damaged hair… I felt like my hair is defiantly been softer and less frizzy!! this is available is most places, I saw it in Target the other day as well.. so next time you are there .. instead of grabbing something that has been tested on animals… give this brand a go 🙂 !
I am not sponsored by this brand, this is my honest opinion 🙂
Thank you guys so much for reading & following and as always YOU’RE WELCOME!
if you are not following me, then please do for more cruelty-free & vegan goodness 😀
love you guys! till tomorrow…
I’ve got gray hair that flies all over the place -on its way of growing out from a buzz cut – so think I’ll give this a try. Target is right up the street too! Thanks veganneeds!

I can vouch for this stuff too! When I went blonde my hair needed some serious upkeep. I switche between the Giovanni and also ‘Its a 10’ leave in conditioner (not all natural, but they do not test on animals). Great review/
