Top 5 Benefits of being Vegan

Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday!! hope you all had an awesome weekend πŸ™‚ I had a few out of town visitors over the weekend and they inspired my Blog for you today! its always great when you get complements from people who have not seen you in a long time and you can pinpoint where the positive changes came from πŸ™‚


so I thought I would Blog about some of the things I have been complemented on that directly reflect my Vegan, whole food plant based lifestyle πŸ™‚ and of course some positive changes I have seen in myself since going Vegan πŸ˜€ enjoy!

  1. Very High Energy Level

I have noticed a significant amount of difference in my Energy levels from before and it just keeps getting better and better. I know that I eat more greens now, so that is a huge plus but also I don’t feel like going into a coma after every meal!! I also have more energy to exercise and I am wide awake in the morning πŸ˜€


2. Eat more, lose weight

Yes you read that right… because I am eating less fatty foods on my High carb low fat lifestyle and replacing that with foods high in nutrition… I can eat more and still lose weight! and I am still eating delicious food! you can check out my Recipes Here to get and idea πŸ˜‰ and yes I still eat dessert! you can see some of the awesome desserts I have on a regular basis HERE


3. Healthier Hair, skin & nails

Yes! I have noticed that my hair is fuller! my nails are stronger and do not break! and my skin has been glowing due tom healthy and nutrias diet! I have also started drinking more water in this lifestyle which is a huge plus πŸ˜€


4. Guilt and fear

This is a strange one… but I have noticed since going vegan, that my social anxiety issues are completely gone! I am not longer scared to do the things that I have always wanted to do… and of course I don’t feel guilty as much knowing that my daily decisions help the animals and the planet πŸ™‚ I am going to be posting more on this subject in the future and the connection between lost of fear and veganism πŸ™‚


5. Spirituality and Connection

Last but not least I have felt a deeper connection with my surrounding and other creatures on this planet.. other humans, animals or insects… and realizing that Just because they are not human.. does not mean they are less than Human.Β Living a cruelty-free life has taught me kindness, forgiveness and a more in depth understanding of my purpose!
