KETT Cosmetics ~ Makeup for the Digital Age.

Hi Everyone,

Here is something new that you probably didn’t know about me, (or you did if you follow me on social media) I am a filmmaker!

I Direct them, write them, edit them! Its my passion and what I love to do in life 🙂

One thing I hear all the time is, ” The camera doesn’t Lie” … well that depends on what you’re talking about… but when it comes to your face and how you look its a stinkin lill liar!

A few months ago…I was on a shoot and for some reason I decided to go hang out in the Make up department, the makeup artists are always fun to hang out with, they have all sorts of tips and tricks on how to look good or “normal” in front of the camera! One of them offered to give me a little make over since I was about to have a Cameo in one of the scenes! curious to see what she would do I decided to give it go…

well… I sat down and as she picked up her brush I noticed that NONE of her makeup was cruelty-free… forget about Vegan! I shifted in my seat and decided oh man… I really can’t do this!

I stopped her and asked her why she doesn’t use Cruelty-free or Vegan makeup!… she lowered her brush and looked at me like I was from Mars and said, “what’s that?”

I realized right then and there that I have the ability to influence and introduce makeup artists to Cruelty-free and Vegan Brands! BETTER YET I can introduce all the talent to these brands as well on my own productions!

So I hopped on the internet in search of a Cruelty-free and Vegan company that does makeup for the movies and that is when I found KETT COSMETICS.

I got three color correctors and a Palette to place them in! These little fellows Conceal, correct and neutralize under eye discoloration and this formula is ALSO Waterproof, Silicone Free – Paraben Free – Fragrance Free – Cruelty Free & Enriched with Vitamins A, C, E and licorice root extract.

always struggle with my undereye area! since I have more of a neutral skin tone, I never know if I am supposed to be warm or cool or what! PLUS I tan so easily that I need to have so many different concealer colors on hand just to look normal! I love the 3 color palette because it allows me to mix and match! I thought the formula was going to be drying! but it was just the right amount of creamy and it did not crease under my eye! WIN!!!

I got this in the color Caicos – Deep plum.

This Creme makeup, believe it or not is actually For eyes, lips and cheeks, It is waterproof, Silicone Free – Paraben Free – Fragrance Free – Cruelty Free Enriched with vitamins A, C, and E and Licorice Root extract.

I love this color and the pigment of it! and I also love that I can match lips and cheeks! I feel like this can be very subtle or build able! very creamy but NOT OILY and long lasting, didn’t dry out my lips at all! LOVE IT!

Kett Sett Pressed

Alright this set powder is life… I was speechless when I first put it on my face! I have a really hard time with sett powders, they never match my skin tone and they always make make me look like I caked on the makeup!

But this… wow.. its Ultra-translucent and color-adaptable, works on ANY skin tone and it didn’t make my face look dry or flaky AT ALL! I specially love it for under the eyes to set my concealer! I even use this with my everyday natural makeup, it makes it last so much longer! I am IN LOVE!

I am so excited about this ethical brand and the quality of their products! Our personal cameras and even iPhone cameras are high definition as well and lets face it… there isn’t always a snapchat filter out there to save the day!!
