Top 5 Healthy Snacks for a Summer Glow

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend, I mostly just relaxed in the sun and got some Vitamin D šŸ™‚



Before this lifestyle I used to use a lot of anti aging creams & masks and etc! My skin always felt dry and stressed and even dull! I caked on the makeup and hid the baggy eyes but I didn’t feel great!!

When I started eating more nutritious foods I started to seeĀ a huge difference in my overall appearance! and the saying ” You are What you eat” finally made sense!


It really is as simple as it sounds! your body craves these foods and you should really listen to it! Get those greens in with every meal and drink your water! You will look and feel great!


For my snacker friends out there… Nature has already provided the best snacks for us and you don’t have to feel guilty about snacking either!! Here are my Top 5 healthy Snacks for beautiful, vibrant & glowing skin!!

  1. Goji BerriesĀ 


Goji berries are aĀ Anti-Aging Superfood, snack on someĀ dried goji berries and give your skin a healthy, youthful glow! I snack on these when I am craving something sweet and sour šŸ™‚ or you could sprinkle some on your oatmeal or salad! YUM!


2.Ā spirulina


What is Spirulina?? It’s aĀ is a blue-green algae! Here is a super helpful video:

It is a COMPLETE PROTEIN and contains all nine essential amino acids!! you really can’t beat that! I Mix the powder in my smoothies in the mornings and get those greens in for a healthy glow!

3. Cacao Nibs


That’s right! Another snack packed with nutrients that canĀ increase levels of endorphins so itĀ helps lift your mood, A smiling face is a beautiful face šŸ™‚

You can sprinkle these on your favorite BananaĀ Nicecreams,Ā I actually love sprinkling them on my oatmeal! its to die for!


4. Chia Seeds


I feel like this one is pretty obvious if you are plant based, you know you can get SO MUCH Omega-3 from Chia seeds and they are easy to digest! Ā Chia seeds also fight wrinkles! Eating more foods packed with omega-3 fatty acids helps support your skinā€™s structure and reduces the appearance of Fine lines!

Ā I put a spoonful of these in my smoothies every morning, It helps me stay full as well!


5. Walnuts


Last but not least, My favorite snack of all! Walnuts! I used to eat raw walnuts all the time growing up because we had a walnut tree in our garden! so delicious! these days I mostly snack on dried walnuts! They are rich in antioxidints and rich in Omega 3 acids! They help lock in moisture and nutrients in the skin, making it Healthy and GLOWING!
